Hoping you are keeping fit and healthy and have managed to get back on court over the past few weeks. What a strange summer, with so little competitive tennis.
The LTA have been working hard to keep everyone up to date on the latest regulations, helping us all to play as much tennis as we can and encouraging many others to pick up a racket and have a go.

With regard to the ITF Seniors circuit there will be no resumption of play before the week commencing 31 August 2020.

Regarding the few SLTC of GB fixtures left this year, the match managers will be liaising with our opponents and if at all possible matches scheduled from September will take place where the venue is willing and all adhere to any rules laid out. The match managers will be in touch regarding teams to check with those due to play, if they are available and still wish to.
Should it be feasible, we will look at the possibility of arranging a social event later this year.
If you missed the LTA National Tennis Awards, held online on the 30th July, to highlight the incredible achievements and contributions to tennis of people across Britain - CLICK HERE to watch. Two awards to note; the Women’s Senior Player of the Year is Teresa Catlin (Cambridge) and the Men’s Senior Player of the Year is Lennie Lawrence (Watford). Congratulations to Teresa and Lennie and to all the winners and those nominated and shortlisted.
Take care, with best wishes, Anne
