Match at The Devonshire, Plymouth
Posted:
21 October 2025
We have now arranged a date for our 3-pair match at The Devonshire in Plymouth for competitive tennis sessions on Fri 14th (5-8pm) and Sat 15th (11am-2pm) November. Court surface is indoor carpet and they are booked for 3 hours each session, with some flexibility. The aim is for a county standard match comprising men's, ladies and mixed doubles.
We need a team of 4 men (2 x 55+, 2 x 65+) and 2 women (60+) to challenge our West Country friends so applications are now invited from Club members for both days. If you are only able to make one of the days that may be of help.
An overnight stay is likely (Friday 14th) so let us know as soon as possible whether you would like to be considered in order that hotel rooms can be booked. Of course, if you live relatively locally then you may be able to travel each day.
